The Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum appreciates your interest in our haunted house, “The Asylum”. We have been hard at work to provide you with an exciting and truly terrifying experience this October.
The scene for this year’s scare fest is the long abandoned Tuberculosis hospital, previously unseen to the public. Now, for the first time in decades, we have opened its doors to provide you with the most frightening visions of horror imaginable.
Once admitted to the first floor, explore the children’s ward on the second floor, travel through seclusion and administration on the third, and finally venture into. . .
The basement, where Doctor Cerberus performs his experimental procedures in hopes of cultivating a rare chemical, aptly named Cerberine, from his victims. Produced only in the brain of select patients and only when they are in a state of tremendous terror and extreme pain, the Doctor believes Cerberine is the key to extending the life of anyone who ingests it.
This procedure, and the removal of Cerberine, has the unforeseen affect of turning patients into flesh-eating mindless creatures. These zombie-like creatures have only the most basic of functions but are almost impossible to ‘dispose’ of and attack relentlessly at the smell of blood.
